Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work, focusing in Foundation works
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality and Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Prepare documentations, including shop/CAD/as built drawings and method statements for submission and approval
• Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans
• Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive actions are implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Ensure material submission & approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
• Prepare bored piling drawings and soil investigation reports for bored piling works
• Check geotechnical parameters for bored pile installation

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Geology or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• At least 8 years’ experience with extensive experience in piling and geotechnical engineering projects
• Candidates who possess experience in large civil engineering projects preferred
• Preferably have experience in rock fissure and base grouting processes
• Familiar with local codes and regulations, as well as submission procedures
• Well versed in structural and geotechnical design software packages and technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, design software and analytical tools e.g. MicroStation/AutoCAD, Plaxis, etc
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Must be willing to work in remote locations
